Why dose internet dating not really work? I know people who have been on internet dating sites and got know luck I have only heard of 3 people who have got lucky from internet dating and one of them it did not work out for her. Is internet dating a good or a bad thing?
It just depends on the person in my opinion. We can't say it's generally good or bad, because different people experience different things from it. I've been in two official online relationships so far. First in 2006 and the other one 2 years ago. Neither of them worked out in the end, but I don't regret dating the girls. In fact, I'm still friends with my last ex. I've also been in this situation with an online friend at the moment. Right now, things are pretty tough even though our feelings are mutual. But if nothing else blossoms from it, she'll always be my friend and I'll always love her. So it essentially also depends on how you perceive the whole thing, too.
It depends on what you want and how you go about getting it, I have mingled in the science of online dating, Rule one you need a great photo, (as much as people say they are not shallow 99% of online daters are) Your profile has to stand out (not the same old thing rewritten 100 diffident ways) Once you establish the connection that's like first base There are many ways to make some one like you but if you have nothing in common what's the point. Its like any system you just need to know the steps, I've had many crazy times with lady's i met on the Internet Its always worth the adventure, What do you want from online dating?
Internet dating obviously is a good thing despite the fact that it's by far not for everyone. If it only helped bringing 2 people together it already served a purpose.
Why, that 98% would be left single anyway. Not the fault of internetdating that they also fail at online dating.
Internet dating can work if you know its strengths and weaknesses. It is great for making an acquaintance if you know what kind of person you like. It is poor at developing an acquaintance into a relationship. I would never keep the relationship online for months. Choose a safe place and meet him or her soon. I don't believe in long-distance relationships. Stories about long-distance courtship that works okay are the exception. I only date local people. Hope that helps!
