Great relationship without full disclosure of partner's past?

    Does a great relationship need honesty about their past to be successful.
    Obviously during a Great relationship honesty about the future and present are crucial to success (among other things) But what about the past?

    Can it work with the man hiding the fact he was originally born a woman? or that the woman had actually slept with 93 guys instead of the five she confessed and one of them was the man's father.

    I'm just curious if it can be great and honest in the moment if there's still skeletons hiding in the closet.

    I really can't even answer this poll because I am so caught in the middle.

    i don't think FULL disclosure is really necessary, but anything important needs to be out there, or else you have to deal with the stress of hiding things and you can't be 100% comfortable together.
