Canberra Folk Festival 2012

Is always expensive, but amazing atmosphere, some pretty awesome performances, decent shopping.

I'm wondering if anyone is going? It's in April, over the Easter long weekend.

 

I went a couple years ago. It's really great, a long drive for me but I might make it this year.

 

I think more than the shopping, I love just being there. The atmosphere is gorgeous.

 

I usually go to Confest at Easter but Canberra is pretty good for new and second hand bookshops, art galleries , museums and eating out.
