why doesnt anyone like dry weed? its better for just about everything, especially smoking. not only does it smoke better but it also makes gathering keef much easier. personally, I dry out all of my weed for both of those reasons. also, if you dont have a grinder it makes breaking it up by hand a LOT easier. plus it tastes the same
not only that but it also burns way to damn fast, and doesnt seem to get me high as other dankness. dry weed is so light, id rather have a heavy nug thatll get me blitzed
If it's nice and crystally and gets you where you want to be after a hit, it's not a bad thing, I suppose. But I have also have had really dank weed that is equally high quality, but seems to last forever in a bowl. I would prefer that over the former.
weed is supposed to be somewhat dry. i dislike an overly moist bud way more than i do a dry one. but there is a point that it becomes TOO dry. it'll turn to dust in your pocket. it disintegrates with one pinch. and becomes harsher than it was at its prime.
yea, there is definitely such thing as too try, which isnt what Im referring to. although, I rather it be too dry than too moist. it smokes better because it burns better and, from my experience, more evenly when rolled and holds a better cherry. I dont find it too much or at all more harsh than moist buds. not to mention I use my launch box a LOT and I believe dried weed works better in a vape than moist. like porkstock said though, there is definitely too dry
I hate dry weed. It makes me cough my ass off and it burns up a lot faster. You are wasting your money!
i know you can double bag it, and toss a piece of lettuce or something in the 2nd bag, but this isn't a very precise way to re-hydrate it. also it can grow mold if you roll it up tightly or let it sit too long. how do you do it?
its very very rare I get some already dry weed, I normally do it myself by just letting it air out. works great, hits great, feels great xD how could dry weed be any worse for your healthy than moist weed? thats just silly wendycopper.
I used to use orange peels, but I lost some really good herb by forgetting to take it out in time. I found that a little piece of wet paper towel right in the bag works best. You can wet the paper towel according to how moist you want it. Squeeze most of the water, and it can give harsh herb a little freshness.
if the weed's too dry, you just gotta hit it easier. Let's say you have a beautiful mint condition top bud of some great danky dank shit. you love it admire it show it to all your friends for several days while you're smoking the other rest of the dank. But this bud is absolutely perfect. after several days of coming in and out of the jar, transported from here and there, it's time to smoke it. WTF? its super dry?? No worries, just break off a bowl sized piece and LIGHTLY press it into the bowl, making sure that the density is even throughought. Then you corner that shit like it's prescious, hitting it slowly, so that you know when to stop hitting it so you don't have a blowout.. Now, after that first hit, the rest of the bowl should be resinated enough to burn like regular moist weed, depending on how you cornered it
my weed is guaranteed to be dry, not turn to powder in your hand dry but dry to the point it breaks up into the perfect bits when I break it up to smoke. everyone i smoke with has the regular ole moist goods. in my opinion, there is absolutely no difference between how harsh it is and thats based on hitting from a pipe.
I keep my weed in an airtight jar. Letting weed sit out collects all the nasty smells/tastes in the air and ugh...I just like it to all be fresh as possible. Our little jar fits an ounce just perfectly.
Perfectly cured weed will have a spongy feel and spring back a little when compressed, yet the stems will still make a nice "snap" when broken. Personally if I'm buying it I prefer dry weed, you get more for your $$$ Back in the day we used orange peels to "refresh" thai sticks and the flavor it created was awesome. Haven't done that in eons though, no thai sticks around
