what is your favorite thing to do while on opiates?

Calming music, deep conversations with friends, stargazing, lying under the covers, reading a really good book, playing mellow music.

 

I like cruising down the road with the windows down high as a fucking kite jamming whatever music I'm feeling at the time! Or sitting back and watching something from our extensive movie collection or something from one of the tons of tv series me and my girl have bought since we've been together. Or fucking or shopping or if I'm high enough sitting with music on and trying to stay semi concious haha. I should add I HAVE TO SMOKE POT WITH MY OPIATES! If I don't something is way not right. But most the time I just smoke and watch a show or talk with my chick.

 

Speaking of tv shows, I like to watch House while on Hydro's, lol.

after a bag or 2, put on some tunes,and i,m a house cleaning machine,with kids cleaning is never done. but i enjoy it while high. and riding atvs, parting with pals around a big bonfire the weather is getting nice here.

ive found an even better thing to do then play video games.... pop a few clonazepam and it gives me just enough energy (dont know why) to go out and walk my dog to a buddies house, and smoke weed. never done this combo of weed/benzo/opiate until a week or so ago and its freaking awesome. its almost like an orgasm only its all over your body and it doesnt stop for like 6 hours because of the extremely long lasting kpins. i think im in love

 

Be careful dopeman cause opiates and benzos is a recipe for disaster though I'm sure you know that. Nobody wants you turning into a smurf. Also if you take benzos for roughly 30 days in a row you WILL have benzo WDs and they are WAY worse than opiate WDs so please be careful with those benzos they can be fun but they can also add a whole new world of hurt on you. I've seen people do 80-160mgs of oxy or 100-200mgs of hydrocodone and not be "right" until they get some bars or kpins in them. You don't wanna be like that.

My favorite is doing it in the morning, making some coffee, get in the car to head to work and have a cigarette with all the windows rolled down. If its raining its even better. Its so relaxing to do before work. I just left mcdonalds to work at a tjmaxx and its kinda far from my house. So doing this ritual makes my work day so much nicer.

 

Yes, opiates in the morning. After a 12-14hr break, that first dose is always better.

 

Good words. Benzodiazepine withdrawal is one of the few cases of drug withdrawal that can actually fucking KILL you. Be very careful as a dependence on benzos tends to sneak up on casual users.

 

I like to stare at my cieling and sink into my chair. Or sometimes I like to walk around the mall, its quite the adventure.

 

I can't prove it, but I suspect that Xanax withdrawal may have indirectly led to a murder here. A guy I was loosely acquainted with was a serious Xanax addict. He had a terrible temper even at the best of times, but when he ran out of Xannies he was nasty, man. Well, he was sponging off his 84 year old mother for drug money, and I guess she got tired of it and cut him off, and he apparently beat her to death on Christmas day. He pleaded innocent, and his trial starts Monday. Anyway, I looked it up, and withdrawal from Xanax can supposedly cause psychotic episodes in some people.

Holy fucking shit. That is incredibly tragic. It is so sad that the human mind can be warped to such horrible places.

He's one of those guys who you just know is going to kill somebody some day, it's just a matter of time. But nobody thought it would be his own mom. In IL if you're convicted of 1st deg. murder you have to serve 100% of whatever sentence is handed down, no time off for good behavior. Since he's 44 now, if he's convicted it's over for him. And we have some nasty prisons in this state. But like I said, I believe this was partially due to him going through Xanax withdrawal. I wonder if that would be an effective legal defense? Probably not. I mean, if Dahmer couldn't get off on insanity I doubt if drug withdrawal symptoms would do it.
