yeah i heard about that..The mayans based their calander on the stars though right? So their calander was completely different than ours, like two different worlds
Yes and it also accounts for the precession of the equinox and similar astronomical movement, so it is much, much more accurate than the Julian calendar, that's why you have to add leap years into it to rectify how inaccurate the roman Julian calendar is.
