Does anyone have any superstition or knowledge about breaking mirrors that they can pass on to me? I recently broke a mirror. Actually, it just shattered, no pieces fell out, so is it still considered broken? Does anyone believe you really do get 7 years bad luck? I've realized recently that I have actually broken a lot of mirrors and coincidently, I have a lot of bad luck. Are there ways to reverse the curse? or should I not even worry about it since it's just shattered. Also, it was a new mirror. I read something about breaking a mirror only being bad luck if you've looked in it. Well since the mirror was brand new, I never even got a chance to look into it...how should I dispose of the mirror? Mirrors actually really freak me out.
Personally I think there's only as much to it as you read into it, Rainy. I would say just stop obsessing, but I know it's not that simple. But I would strongly recommend that you do your best to forget about it. It might help to utilize something you have firm faith in - pray or do a magical or cleansing ritual or whatever. Don't dwell in the darkness - walk toward the light.
When trying to clean up the broken mirror shards, do not use bare hands, wear gloves. Pick out the biggest shards and leave the little ones for the vacuum cleaner or dustpan and brush. Sweep Vacuum Wear socks or slippers in the area for the next few days until you've cleaned the area a few more times Don't let your pets lick the area or your children crawl over it Buy a new mirror.

Thanks zengizmo. I believe that too- that things will only be true on account of how much energy we put into them. Our minds can also create powerful things. I did read into broken mirrors briefly though and it does seem to hold some truth to it. I do believe mirrors are a mystical thing and types of mystical creatures can be transported through them and maybe mirrors can capture a soul in a way.. I've had some bad luck, but also good luck too. I got rid of the mirror and hope the ritual I did worked.
Don't take any wild birds in the house while the mirror is in there. use heavy leather gloves to pick up pieces place in rubber waste can and dispose in dumpster. have a monk come in to remove any bad spirits that might linger then all is good. Peace
