Yeah, avoid San Francisco. We actually learnt about that in school (we have a pretty cool old-hippie teacher lol) apparently all the old hippies left/turned into junkies, and now it's filled with skin heads and heroin addicts. But i agree with everyone about British Columbia, i live here and it's probably the chillest place ever. I've never been worried about being busted by a cop before. A few weeks ago, i was openly smoking a joint while walking through a park, and the park has this little opening view of the road at one point, and there was a cop pulled over there giving somebody a ticket, and i just walked on by continuing on with my smoke But yeah it's probably one of the most expensive places to live, and moving to another country might be more of a hassle than what its worth. I say go somewhere in Cali!
I was thinking of moving there as well! Not for the college, but for the area. It's beautiful and so open.
