And it sucks. Its not like it was intentional...I think feelings changed and there were a few "bad timing" moments in the past few years. Maybe we're just growing apart. Whatever it is, losing a good friend is rough.
Everybody does change with age. Sometimes though enough time passes and you never know who will be calling or showing up at your front doorstep. Just make sure you don't give up on the person if ya do want them back.
Losing a friend is tough. I have a harder time losing a close friend than I do during a romantic break-up. I think its important to not shut the door on someone forever. You never know when life will bring you together again.
Growing apart sometimes happens. The best thing to do is try to not have anything said that you will regret. At times, given distance, friendships rekindle, you never know.
