I love smoking some melty bubble hash but the most wrecked I have ever been is through hash edibles. Sometimes I like to ingest hash instead of smoke to give my lungs a break or experience a more intense, long-lasting stone from the bubbz. Bubble Hash as it turns out is way better to use for edibles than whole plant material because it is cleaner(washed with water) and mostly free of dirt, pesticides, mold ect. I like to make my own edibles because the dispensary ones often leave much to be desired and I can choose how much hash to add based on how stoned I want to be. First you need to figure out how much hash to ingest. A good dosage for testing out would be anywhere from .2 to .4 grams per person of potent bubble hash. A half gram and up is considered a hefty dosage for one person. Be careful and start small! I have scared myself before by eating .6 grams in one sitting. It can get really intense for a long time if you overshoot the right dosage. In many ways it's like tripping. The next important thing to consider is which fat/oil to dissolve it in. I have tried milk, butter, sunflower oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and peanut butter. By far the best one is coconut oil in my experience. I always felt a stronger and longer lasting effect when using this route and I recently read something to verify why it is the best oil to use for cooking hash. :2thumbsup: it's expensive but this stuff is like gold to me now. I swear its like magic the way it unlocks the potential of the hash and it's mild flavor meshes well with everything. Go get some! Here's how to prepare your hash in coconut oil to use in edibles or drinks: Set up a double boiler; basically a large pot full of boiling water and a smaller pot to fit inside the larger one and float on the hot water. We are doing this so our volatile oils and active cannabinoids don't get above vaporization temps while dissolving into the oil. Boil your water and put the oil and ground up hash in the small pot. Use about a teaspoon of oil per gram of hash. Let the oil sit in the double boiler for at least 90 minutes, stirring gently every now and then to dissolve the hash better. Once it is done you can use immediately for cooking or baking or put in a container and refrigerate for later. I have used this oil to make: chili, pasta, cookies, mini bundt cakes, brownies, fudge. It can also be mixed (while warm) into drinks like coffee, milkshakes, smoothies or a nice traditional bhang :sultan:. Mixing it into ice cream is also a great option. Whatever you cook make sure it doesn't go above 350 F. This method of preparing hash for ingestion causes you to feel the edibles in 20 minutes on an empty stomach and you keep getting higher until the peak. Be careful and don't decide to eat any more until till two hours after ingestion when you can really feel the effects.
Right. this is for the grades of hash that don't get smoked. Most Cook with the 25 micron, smoke the 75, 90, and 45 micron. :2thumbsup:
