I know there is the old dont smoke indica just sativa route, but not everyone gets to choose what they buy. I stopped smoking weed for 5 months last year because it started to make me feel like a looser as I would blaze to tone down anxiety and stress but I would just get really hungry eat a bunch and go to sleep. Or stop what I was doing to go on youtube and watch videos or do some trivial things in the time I should really be studying or doing something constructive. Recently, I picked i started lighting up every day again and I am starting to get that burned out feeling again like Im sleep walking. Anyone have tips on how to enjoy the high while still being functional?

The amount im talking about is around 2-3 joints daily of mids.

    Thanks.

...it might be time to stop smoking weed then, or just to indulge occasionally.

drink a cup of coffee, or go for a walk or something.

I find it really depends on the strain of weed, but also just depends on how tired I am in general. maybe you just need to get more sleep?

Limit yourself. Use it like a reward......instead of lighting up before you start to do something. Wait till after you have accomplished something. Use Cannabis to take away the stress of the day, but don't let it >become< your day...

this is good advice for most people, unless you're using it to manage pain or something.

I agree 100% i started smoking after work and before work...that is 6 am and 6 pm respectfully. I can honestly say I have another level of respect for bud now. In the morning it gives me the toning that and slight groove I needed to get me by the boring day and at night as a relaxer for a full day of work. being at work helps you control your drives to eat and pass out, too. You eventually learn to enjoy the high and be alert at the same time and force yourself to control the munchies. I know that if I only stayed at home i would likely eat a bunch of shit and go to bed -- or at least thats the tendency eventually.
