How to track an iPhone for free?

Ok so my g/f lost her iPhone and can't find it, is there a way to track it for free? I've looked it up and most web sites are shit or you have to pay a ridiculous amount of money.

She has a 3G, the find my phone feature is only for the 4 and 4s, she's the fucking idiot that wanted the piece of shit phone so now the dumb ass has to deal with it. I told her not to get it because she doesn't take care of her shit.

She is such a damn stoner, we found it under the passenger seat in her car, lol. I asked her if she looked there and she said "yes" so I didn't look, so a couple days ago we were going to visit my friend in the hospital and it slid right out from under my seat, good thing it has a case on it.

 

Ask your phone service provider, they usually have some type of tracking program/service. Otherwise you have to be really good with puters, but i wont nor do i have the time to explain it all...good luck, tho.
