Sometimes I forget just how good he is. Then I relisten to 'Graceland' and I am in awe...AGAIN. What's your favourite Paul Simon song? I love 'Graceland' and 'Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes'
know what you mean, like so many of his although hearing cecilia always makes me remember when i was rough sleeping by a lake in austria, good times they were.
Have a go at "One Trick Pony" Paul Simon is one the greatest musicians of the 20th century alongside with Peter Gabriel IMO.
For me, so Simple, so Simon, so Personal, so Profound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHI2nWdRdXw"]Paul Simon sings Homeward Bound live in the studio - YouTube
Been listening to 'Mother and Child Reunion' as well...can't believe it was inspired by the title of a Chinese chicken and egg dish...too funny!
Kodachrome (really good rocknroll in the song). As an honourable mention: the Canticle with Garfunkel.
My mom has always loved Paul Simon so I've heard his music my whole life. I could listen to the album Graceland on repeat and never get tired of it. It's truly beautiful music. This is actually true: I was born to Born at the Right Time playing on the radio. My favorite song is probably You Can Call Me Al. I would choose the whole album ideally.
