Below is a link to the closing speech performed by Charlie Chaplin in 1940 from his first talking movie entitled, "The Great Dictator." To say it is impressive is an understatement. The character he portrays in the movie is modeled after the famous German dictator of WWII; except with a drastic twist - he is not evil; he is kind. In this speech, he addresses the audience directly in a speech denouncing dictatorship, greed, hate, and intolerance; in favor of liberty and human brotherhood. It is a speech that should be shouted from the town square of Everytown, USA. Please watch it and broadcast it to everyone that you know.
