Hello guys. I have to say growing up a was a dirty kid. My mom used to have to remind me to put on deodorant as a pre-teen and I'd often forget and my pits would stink like hell. I hardly ever shaved my dirt stash because I had long greasy hair and needed something to distinguish me from a girl. In high school I remembered my deodorant but never bothered with body sprays or colognes and didn't shave as often as I should have. Two years ago I got into a serious relationship and my girl made subtle hints about improving my personal care. Now i'm doing all kinds of shit. Axe body spray, facial scrubs, those black head pads. I've got a pair of tweezers for plucking out any stray eyebrow hairs. My girlfriend and I waxed our legs together. I liked the way it looked and felt and have been shaving my legs ever since. Hell I shave most of my body hair! Legs forearms chest pubes. She convinced me to shave my ass as well. I thought it was kind of homo at first but it makes my ass that much cleaner. No more little dangle berries getting stuck to the hairs of my ass! I body-build so having hairless legs really brings out the cuts in them. I never realized how dirty my face was until my girl managed to squeeze out some black shit from my forehead and got me to try one of those black head pads. Good lord the shit that resides in your nose pores... Is this much personal care unusual? I told my girl that none of my friends use facial scrubs or tweeze their eyebrows and she wouldn't believe me. Apparently all her guy friends do all these things. I'm not complaining , because i'd rather not have nasty black things in my skin but sometimes I feel it's a bit over kill. Like washing your face a certain way as to avoid wrinkles in the future. Oh well i'm probably just a dirty man and thats the reason this stuff seems a little foreign to me. How much do you groom?
Lol I guess it is pretty metro sexual but believe me if we ever break up I'll probably go back to my dirty ways. Though I'll probably continue to shave my body hair. It feels... very nice indeed...
i don't go to any extremes with the grooming thing. just the regular stuff. and i don't shave any of my body hair. i love it. anybody who doesn't like it can fuck off. and i certainly wouldn't shave myself just because someone told me to. it's my body, my call.
I wax my ass too.. Only problem with that is. the fine hairs actually give the TP something to glide over. So if your asshole is super smooth. you will not get a clean wipe with a dry tp. youll be wet wiping for at least a week..
i just make sure im clean..soap and deodorant is about all..no perfumes or other crap like that because of allergies i dont pluck anything except for one hair that grows on the tip of my nose i use trimmers on my face when my beard feel too long ...sometimes ill just chew off a few hairs if they keep getting in my mouth my armpits never stink
I`m a cross between metrosexual and street minimalist. I don`t know where I place in the totem pole of grooming. I think above average, because most people in public transportation don`t impress me. Maybe I`m full of myself. Or, certainly. :biggrin: All I can be certain of is that, whatever I do, it will not satisfy women. Unless one of the uggos decides she is in love, in which case I can smear shit all over myself and in her eyes I still look like Brad Pitt and smell like Johnny Depp; and she`ll be glad to lick it off me. Of course, all this love means...arm candy, picking up the tab, and dick-in-a-box.
Orison you wax your butt? Sweet Jesus. I've only waxed my legs once and it was so messy and time consuming I've never tried it again. I recently tried to do my pubes and it was a disaster. I was using sugar wax and i've no experience what so ever with the stuff and ended up applying it when it was far to hot. Scalded my pubis like you wouldn't believe. I trudged on and got half of it done before giving up. Now I have a strange looking birds nest down there. I like the results waxing brings but I think next time I'll get it done professionally. I can only imagine the havoc I'd wreak if I ever tried waxing my own ass. Its razors for me. Sure it's not as effective and leaves razor burn now and then and the hairs grow back prickly as hell but at least its fast and there's less chance of me screwing it up. What about nose hairs? Personally I've been cutting that shit out for about 6 months. Much less chance off having boogers dangling out of your nose when there's no gigantic hairs for them to cling on to.
I feel like I spend more time on it than a lot of people, but I wouldn't say I go out of my way about it. Deodorant does the job, no need for fancy colognes. I shave my face every day or two, but if I want to look particularly nice I'll put a little extra effort into it, i.e. a little hair gel, trim the fingernails, etc. But I'm not one for the full body shave or cologne or any of that crap. It's unnecessary and not worth the effort.
Well this is cool that you really care and respect what your girlfriend need, Go for it, Cleaning is essential It really helps us in remaining healthy.
