When you make hot chocolate, do you use water or milk?

I use milk. It is one of the few times I actually drink milk.

Maybe it goes back to my Mom always made it with milk but it does not taste right made with water.

So how do you make your hot chocolate?

I add peanut butter to pretty much everything from ice cream to pasta.

Water, because it's always on hand!

I use rice milk or coconut milk to make mine since I am allergic to dairy.

    That's the beauty of it.

I can remember being really young, maybe 4 and coming in from playing in the snow and there would be hot chocolate made to warm us up. :)

I used to like pouring a glass of milk and adding some chocolate syrup in it, stir it, heat it, and VOILA hot chocolate.
