I set out this morning on a hike, and turns out to last 3 hours!! Im so proud Haha plus I had a great time!!! I brought a backpack with a drawing pad, phone, knife (for protection although I knew I wouldn't need it but my dad insisted) and pencils. I didn't draw much but I got a lot done. I waded through a creek... a bit frightening at first. Next I pushed through briars to find a field which I didn't make it all the way through. Ill find it another day!!!:D afterwards I did some trail walking and followed a creek and found some awesome banks that were soooo peaceful!! I loved it. Sure I got some scratches but that's apart of it. I so recommend hiking/trailing for anyone!! I'm taking my little bro tomorrow or Tuesday. Great stress reliever too!

    Love always, Christine marie- PEACE

Sounds like you're going to have some great fun. I go on hikes every weekend or every other weekend. I think it's healthy for the soul to get away from this city-infested life style for a day. Hike on!

It really is great. When you get tired or come to a good resting point, just lay down, take your shoes off and breath. I did this the other day and loved it

That sounds amazing! I haven't gone hiking in years. Didn't realize how much I've missed it until reading this. I'll have to wait for the weather to warm up.

I live in the Allegheny National Forest and try to hike every day. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my dog. Days when I want to meditate and know I'll end up walking too far for the dog (I've done the 3-hour plus tour several times) I make sure my H20 backpack is filled with essentials and just start walking. It's great therapy. When I'm meditating while I'm hiking, it's amazing how far I can go without realizing it. Other times I place close attention to every detail in the forest. I talk to the animals. Heck, I talk to myself!

    HIKERS RULE! :)
