How did you think up or get your online name ?

Wisp-for the non gamers out there ;-a wisp is the worker for the Night Elves in Warcraft ,i was playing warcraft 3 at the time and the name somehow popped into my head when i was thinking up a online name .

 

ahh i see...Well i figured id just say its all good for the fuck of it LOL...I love saying its all good so yeah...Thats the story behind that

 

Hjaloprillar is character from Larry Niven [sf] book series RINGWORLD.

 

i had just gotten out of jail for underwear thievery, and as part of my recovery i found it important to just get it out there that i am now wearing my own underwear.

 

I had quit smoking 2 packs a day when I joined HF, and was trying to think calm, sublime thoughts while distracting myself from my usual habits.

 

I was reading the Wheel of time at the time. I don't like it so much nowadays though. I'd rather have a less specific/gloomy name

Tyrson's Wood was the name of my Renne Faire Business. Tyrson actually means "Son of Tyr" if you happen to be familiar with the ancient Germanic Gods. Tyrsonswood was the email/web presence. After closing that business in 2000 I ended up using the name for my studio "Tyrsonswood studios"

Heat was my nickname in high school.

People started to call me Heath and it drove me insane. I would respond by saying Er, then they started with calling me Er, especially my sister. My sister has always been a brat.

We settled on Heat.

 

This was the first hing that came to my mind during sign up process

 

BeachBall is a nickname I already had.

You try growing up with a name like Becky Ball, and not ending up as BeachBall ...

(I suppose it might not be inevitable if you insisted on being called Rebecca ... but I prefer Becky to Rebecca. It's so much less stuffy!)

Well FFS Tyrson, ever run a booth @ Kinky Dick's up in Kenosha? I was there alot eon's ago (mid-80's) Started in the "Apprentice Acting group" they populated their kingdom with till I ended up holding down the fort at the Knife throw booth for Ole' long haired Chuck when he neded to go do,,, err' "Renn~ie stuff".
