Yes!!! Extremely excited! I am actually getting really frusterated from all this waiting. I have many plans for the coming season. And this winter turned out like shit. This time last year I was wandering the meritimes!

Yeah, im stuck in the city until i can raise enough money to go travelling again. With a new FT job starting in a week or two, i'll definately just get outta here ASAP. The city gets to me everyday man!

Yeah I hate being in cities. They tend to depress me quite a bit. But there arent to many jobs out there right now so I guess you gotta go where there are some. That has surely hurt me this winter.

Yeah totally man....cant wait to head off again. I've been rooted in one spot for far too long and am sick of the shitty cold English weather.
Hoping to head somewhere..maybe Canada...in March or April.

Check out BC if you come down to canada, the west coast in paticular... If you come up to canada in march or april, be prepared for it to still be a bit on the cool side.
By April i think the weathers nice enough for backpacking.

Yes! Although the weather has been unseasonably warm where I am at, we've had constant downpours of cold rain. I'm hoping the weather is good enough by spring break to be able to hike the Appalachian Trail for a week or so. It's been driving me nuts, not being able to get out there and hike! Gah!

Is a passport needed now to get into Canada? Haven't been since '70. Like to come back.

Eruantion, It sucks not being able to get outdoors as much in the winter. I'm a real outdoorsman/hiker myself, and its just getting to me!

Scratcho, I think so. I know you need a passport as a canadian to get into the USA now (Or a special drivers license). The semi-fascist USA seems to think Canada is full of terrorists.

I would like to check out a lot of the Great Bear rainforest this summer. Then head into the Yukon from there.
Haha yeah, I know all about crossing the border. I was refused entry in the fall because of the Occupy protests. They actually seem to be quite threatened by them. Borders have been extremely tight. And I didnt even look like a revolutionary, or hippy, or anything.
