Are you upset by the sight of blood , do you like the taste of your own or other people blood

I Wouldn't Use The Word Like, But Working On A Farm

All My Life Iv'e Had More Than My Fair Share Of Injuries.

I Just Do What You Did, Or Keep Squeezing The Wound

To Keep It Bleeding And Wash Out Any Germs That May Have Entered...:).

i don't think i'd want to taste anyone else's blood. mine tastes ok to me. but i think of that kind of the same way like smells. i like most of my own too, but i wouldn't expect anyone else to. i prefer no to see other people get injured. i don't get off on all this realistic blood and gore people seem to find entertaining. i even worry a little bit about what that might mean for society as a whole.

my own injuries are not that big of a deal to me when they happen. i don't go out of my way to take risks to make them happen, or injure myself intentionally or any of that, but no, the sight of my own blood, as long as i know where its leaking from and how much, doesn't bother me, other then to motivate me to clean the wound and protect it from infection. and avoid loosing too much of it, to where that itself might cause problems.

Tastes like my iron water. And I think blood smells like rust.

I don't mind the taste of my own blood but would prefer not to. My thoughts are "ouch I hurt my finger" and not "ew blood".

I would strongly avoid having to sample anyone else's blood, though. :ack2:

I cut my lip once so I couldn't exactly avoid tasting it. My kitty gave me a good couple of scratches on my shoulder earlier as well. So today I learnt that tea tree oil stings like a bitch on cut's.

Yes, I like it. Just a drop, a sip doesn't sound that appealing :p

I don't mind it, if it's just a few drops. Any more blood that than that acts as an emetic though, so i'm not too keep to try anything like that...

I never thought I would be one to be upset by the sight of blood... until my fiance got a raging bloody nose one day. I walked into the bathroom after he had been in there and I happened to see a wad of soaked bloody tissues piled up in the waste paper basket and got this very strong and sudden surge of nausea that I was not expecting. I about ran out of there to get away from it.
My own blood is fine. I always suck on my cuts till they stop bleeding. That's just instinct. It's good for the cut to bleed a little. It debrides the area. The only problem is the germ factor- not just from the site of the cut going into your mouth, but the fact that the human mouth is pretty ripe with bacteria at any given moment, especially if you don't brush every morning. You could end up worse off than just letting it bleed freely.
That said, I wouldn't say I like the taste of my own blood, but I don't mind it, either...

I do the automatic stick my finger in my mouth if I cut it. I can't say I find it repulsive. It does taste metallic. I have never had a gusher of a cut on my hand and I am not sure in that case if I would stick it in my mouth. Probably not.

I don't think though that I would want to do that with for another person. They are on their own.
