lol For real. She called me up and told me she dumped her girlfriend of four years and she's now with a guy she went to school with. It's crazy 'cause she always represented the rainbow flag and labeled herself as a lesbian. Meh.
I dislike labels. How about "I am a sexual being." ? My experiences would probably land me in the "Bi" category however I consider myself to be pansexual. My daughter considers herself "Bi"; she has a child; has lived in a lesbian relationship; but has been back in the dating pool for a while since that relationship broke up and is looking for a nice person without regard to gender. She has a friend who always represented herself as a Lesbian. Now, that Lesbian friend is having a baby with her boyfriend so it appears that she is Bi after identifying as a Lesbian for years. That was news to me, lol. Labels...I don't think people need them. They maybe only serve to stereo-type people.
(Since I just deleted posts in this thread by 3 males) Reminder - You guys may read the "Lesbian" section but male commenting isn't allowed in here. Thanks <3
I'm not saying that "Pride" is a bad thing. I just don't like labels when people feel boxed in by them.
