    Silently ... raptly,
    I adore my dusky lover.
    Firm sweet body
    Limned by the waning light.
    Queenly ... radiant,
as she contemplates the spreading darkness.
    Innocent of intent,
    She transcends mortal charm.
    Dark shimmering tresses
    touch sweet perfect shoulders.
Her ivory negligee, a translucent thought,
Caresses her artistically sculpted back, waist,
    And intimately cleft buttocks.
    Seeing her thus
I cannot profane this sublime enchantment,
Not with a single softly spoken word,
    Nor the most ethereal touch.

This is my first attempt at free verse poetry.

this was more poetry and hardly free verse in a spoken word sense.
