im reading up on salvia,and hearing its legal im thinking automatically it can't be that good.its got to be weak.i read some trip reports and it sounds like its like acid but shorter duration.im sold i go to the local head shop and they have 5x 10x 20x.i go for 20x cause its legal and im not sure i believe its that hard core if its legal.i get home and pack my big water bong.i get my music ready cause i heard its cool on salvia.i take my jet lighter and inhale.first rip is just to fill the bong.then i take a deep breath and inhale.i hold it in for atleast 30sec.as i exhale the smoke stutters out of my mouth.next thing i know im on the floor.completly gone,not knowing who i am,what i just took,music,forget about it,never remember one note.so i must of blacked out the first few min.but as i came to on the floor i remember being pinned down by gravity.then i became part of the carpet and my closet. and i kept spinning up like a window shade,and each time it went up it felt like it was taking layers of me with it.once i start to fight the gravity pull and i make it to my knees,and as look at my room.it begins to seperate horizontily in the middle and starts to split.and as its splitting my room in half slowly.i start to hear voices like my parents and friends.they're saying things like,he's waking up he's finding out.like this world i was living in was a joke.and the voices matched each person i knew to a t.like they were all in the room with me.then i scanned the room and saw the bong sitting on my desk,and i was like salvia thats right i took a hit.wow is all i can say.i run outside where my brother is smoking and im dripping in sweat.i just tell him a can't believe lsd is illegal and this salvia is legal.im kinda glad i didn't do to much reseach into it before i took that rip,cause i might not of went for it.it also felt like i died.after the exp i felt like i knew what death was like,and for some reason im not scared of dieing anymore.its been 2 years since that exp and i still have extra salvia left.still haven't found the balls to go again,but i will.people ask me if it was good or bad and for some reason its a hard question to answer.i put it right in the middle.peace
holy shit, dude, that sounds SO much like my salvia breakthrough. like you, i didn't really expect that it could be so powerful. i was skeptical from trying it improperly 7 years prior (i smoked it casually like weed instead of taking two rips back to back and holding them - this was 10x) i only held my hits for about 30 seconds, 30 min seems like a long time ^^^that's the first part that sounded familiar. i would have described it more like my couch rotating around and around, and as it spun, it was slamming violently through different dimensions, and it kinda hurt to slip from one to the other. ^^and THAT is the part where i just said "holy shit!" that is exactly how i've described it. mainly i remember my mom saying those things. they were all relieved that they didn't have to be a part of the lie anymore, and that it was about time i figured it out! took long enough
I definitely relate with a lot of that, like the physical gravity sensation and hearing voices from those close to me on the trip. Also the sensation of merging with objects. Really great you were able to get so much out of your trip with it. When I smoke Salvia I often use it with mdma now and I reccommend that. I find mdma smooths out the weird body high somewhat and makes it more enjoyable (its still incredibly intense tho) it also seems to increase the duration a few minutes which may or may not be appealing to you. Mixing it with mdma may cause you to sweat more too. Music is often distracting if anything for me, except on low doses downtempo music sounds good.
i was soaked in sweat when i came back to reality too. the music i was listening to got intertwined in my visions and trip, so that it became another confusing part of it. the two songs can still give me the creeps like a year and a half later.

My god that first post was exactly like my last Salvia trip, exactly . Well not quite because I was listening to an old techno track called FLOWCOMA by 808STATE, and that sound absolutely fucked my head up, I remember every twisted fucked up note . Actually the first time I had salvia, I was standing up, it was daytime and I was listening to Roky Erickson, three things I will never do during a Salvia session again lol But the falling on my back, memory loss, gravity pull, spinning universe, horizontal split, mocking relatives, all exactly like my last trip . It had been six years since my last trip, I had that one on new years and it was as eye opening and mind blowing as any mushroom or LSD trip I have ever had . I guess it is still legal because not only is it a drug that it too strong to abuse, but I would guess the govt would think it is the perfect drug to scare young people off drugs hahaha . I love it, dissolving the ego is all good by me, one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind .
i should note that the reason i didn't hear the music was when i hit the floor the headphones flew off my head.
