Yeah I absolutely hate their food too. I do appreciate them hiring me, a job is a job, but man does it suck. Some customer was arguing with me because we don't serve chicken nuggets at breakfast, and he went on saying how chicken is a breakfast food or something haha. Little things like that make it suck. But hey, I need the money. Slappy thats an adorable story about your kids, made me smile.

Try telling that to the family whose kid has diabetes after eating their crap food. Or cancer. Or heart disease.

McDonalds, like other food manufacturers, uses hydrogenated oil, which they damn well know causes cancer and heart disease

The brutality of the processed meat industry is sickening. And McDonalds is one of the primary forces behind it.

I think it's great that this multi-billion dollar corporation gives a few pennies to sick children, but I think that you need to dig a little deeper before you sing their praises. Far more people have been killed by McD's than saved.

And did the parents have to give them the food to the the kids end up with diabetes........ No.

You can't blame mcdonalds anymore then you can blame Doritos, Taco bell frozen pizzas, and the mounds of other crap.

I'm not defending everything they do but everyone is all high and mighty about mcdonalds being evil plastic food. nobody makes you eat there.

But that company has given many a pimply teenagers first jobs to get to collage or cars when other places wouldn't give them a blink. And just saying that at least they do try to give back. Year after year not just at timed events to suit them. Of all evil fast food chains they've probably given back the most

Well, obviously McDonalds are a symptom of a sick society, not the cause of it. So I agree with you on that point.

Also, it says something worrying about humanities common sense that so many people are willing to poison themselves and the planet voluntarily by eating there.

Aside from that, I dont believe paying young people minimum wage to churn out shit food is a particularly good thing.

Mcodanlds is intended to be a treat food. Its designed to taste different than anything you can make at home. Its why many people will cook things and repeat to themselves, taste just like mcdonlds. But it does not. Their foods is automated. There isnt anything in your kitchen that is automated like that. You can not pull a burger out, and time it they way they do. It would take you years of monitoring and science behind it.

Its designed to be addictive, to taste good at the moment. Its like Cocaine. It pleasures a part the brain and boom you're hooked on Mcdonalds.

They sneakily play games with your children's minds to have them get toys with meals.
Do you give your children toys at the dinner table?, Do you even have a dinner table? If I brought a toy to the dinner table, I dont think I had that toy anymore... Just saying.

Booths are not dinner tables, neither are parked and moving motor vehicles.

Taking your kids to eat at mcdonlds, you might as well take them to a whore house to learn about sex while your at it.

maybe no one forced them to buy their food, but they've spent a lot of money on advertising to persuade people to eat there, especially marketing to kids. and McDonalds knows damn well they're killing people.

it's the same with sub-prime mortgage lending. no one forced those people to sign the agreements, and they have some degree of responsibility for their own foolishness. but the banks were the predators. so is McDonalds.

Besides this, if you saw what they do to the animals, you'd puke.

not going to let McDonalds off the hook just cause they give a little money to charity. giving to charity is great, but it doesn't excuse what they do.

I never said to let them off the hook but as an evil big company at least it is one where you can see they at least they try to give back

"McDonalds knows damn well they're killing people."

seems harsh, gm still makes cars and they kill people, so do cigarettes and alcohol....... All those companies know their products kill......

Okay guys....... There are worse companies, and Micky Dees could do a lot better. I think we get the point. I doubt they are going to change though so we should probably shake and be friends, right?
