How do you deal with it?

I've pain all over my body and I'm just exhausted. I don't know how to make myself feel better. I'm not too keen on taking the drugs that they can prescribe. I would rather try something else.

    What works for you?

    Thanks for any help!:daisy:

Sleep is very important. I hurt alot worse when I skimp on sleep. A good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement doesn't hurt. Naproxen with a meal so you don't hurt your stomach.

More than likely, yes, but they won't diagnose it as such..... I have all the symptoms, have for 20+ years but I'm a guy so they must blame it on something else. They just haven't figured out what "something else" is either......

No relief, and none of the meds work either. So, yeah, lotta help here.

When I was told I had Fibermyalgia,. all the doctors wanted to do was dope me up. Give me things that really didnt help actually..
    narcotics
    muscle relaxer
    sleeping meds
    anxiety pills
    neuro drugs

while I just got worse and more pissed off.

Then they diagnosed me with MS- but let me tell you Im an army veteran, so I also have the mysterious illness called "gulf war syndrome"..

Myself diagnosis of what "Gulf War Syndrome" is, would be the side effect of not getting up running around on your feet all day and night. When the body actually gets to rest. It dont know what to do with itself.

I got hella tired of getting the run around, wondering why Im feeling like shit all the time, and did my own research...

Quit tobacco < If not least cut down a lot.
Eat Better food groups. Fruit and green stuff, veggies that Snap.
    Walnuts, Omega fatty acids.
Juice, and Water, drink more juice if your water comes from a treatment plant.
Light therapy as in Tanning beds.. You dont have to tan to get dark, but as little at 7minutes of UV exposure has be shown to help Fibromyalgia suffers..

meanwhile some jackass tells you it will give you cancer, maybe 20-30yrs from now. Do you want to feel better today, or worry about dying of cancer 30yrs from now..

You "self medicate" too, I believe.... which can help a lot. I don't have that option.

When on Google Earth, it dont look that bad. Say for instance the Bahamas. But just zoom in and see how sickening the development is. It looks like a plague, its not a tropical Paradise at all. Do the same thing, zoom over your favorite hospital. Nothing going on there, that isnt going on in the warehouse next door. Storage ..

I just remembered that when the muscle pain is flaring, drinking some Gatorade seems to help me sometimes.
