In 1984 the Olympics proposed that the ending ceremony would be a UFO landing. The people cheered and openly greeted the flying object. It can be looked at as a test and with these recent stories.. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to cause a worldwide phenomena to strike fear into the heart of millions in this years upcoming Olympics.

 

The reason why all of the sudden the past few years this has become more mainstream is very simple. Disclosure will occur soon, ideas like this are being gradually introduced in the media so the public can gradually come to accept these ideas.
One of the main issues has always been the chaos this will cause. For example consider how the very religious will take this news. Not well one would think when they realize that their "god" really is.

 

I think that we are about to reach a saturation level sufficient for the powers that be to disclose some of what they know about ufos. I listened to that Bob Lazar dude on Coast to Coast AM and there's no doubt for me that he has worked on a "flying saucer". He's the typical absent minded professor type ... he doesn't even follow ufo related news. He's funny and real ... I was impressed.
I doubt that mass chaos would follow a ufo disclosure, many people that I know believe in ufos already.

 

Yeah man that's exactly what I was thinking... I feel as though something 'extra terrestrial' will be going down for 2012. Yet I don't think there will be chaos :sunny:

I suppose there's no reason to disbelieve that there could be civilizations billions of years ahead of ours someplace out there. If it's true and they are cruising around our planet,they probably know how uncivilized we are by now and realize that it may not be in their best interest(read=get shot to shit) to interact. Too bad some civilization doesn't show up with so powerfull a force that we don't even understand it's workings ,to give us a year to act responsibly on our plant or gone we are. Seems about the only way TRUE civilization could take place on our little ball of life.

 

That happened a couple thousand years ago, the warring clans of the Annunaki used nuclear weapons.

 

Do UFOs originate off-planet at all, though ?

Anyone who's studied folklore will see the correspondences between the behaviour of UFOs [and UFOnauts] and creatures from our mythological past, most notably the Faeries [the real, old, scary ones, not the sanitized Victorian little twinkly ones].

Old myths update themselves and adopt new clothing suitable for the times. I suspect UFOs may originate a lot closer to home than we may think.

Theres no doubt that life exists elsewhere in the universe. I think its foolish to think that there is out of the near-infinite vastness of this universe, that we could be the only lifeforms to have developed.
I think aliens have visited our earth for many thousands of years, and acting in a benevolent way.. Helping humans, teaching us, giving us technology..
2012 could just be when there next visit is.

 

History Channel has been running UFO specials for a while and thats a fairly mainstream station. :alien:

 

Might have been helpful if they'd also taught us how to use that technology in a useful way.

Frankly, if they are guiding us, it doesn't really seem to be in a benevolent way.

Very true. Many of the species the US government associates with have played quite the trick on them. They have spent the last several decades trying to backwards engineer technology. But they were given the wrong information on purpose, so the foundation all their theory's is wrong. They knew they would not up from down, when it came to such advanced technology. To say an entire race or species has the same agenda or beliefs is the same as assuming that of a human race, it is not true. So therefore there are some of them that have more interest in helping us then others. Kind of like how some humans are willing to go to the freezing artic ocean to save whales because they believe they are sentient. Yet most wont, and to most of them we are not even a whale, more like an insect. Something they do not consider to have even the most base sense of a "soul" or logic. What is really sad is the government was given the opportunity for true growth of mankind, but they refused it because that knowledge came without weapons, without the ability to control or make war, they would have had to forsake that type of thinking. They were not willing to do that, so those kind ones now only watch from far if at all. The evil ones who knew we could be tricked came and showed us how to kill better, how to continue to make war.

 

I'm a believer as i saw a real flying saucer[well it wasn't really saucer shaped] back in 1974. it was in cali. no anal probes or anything you hear getting sensationalized in the medias. in that era there was nothing the air force had that could move that fast!
