Self Portrait

An oil on canvas self-portrait I painted a while ago.
I visit the hip-forms now and again to see whats happening in this mad world, so I thought I'd share a part of my mad world in return

I painted it during a hard period of my life, a time when I was really quite lost.

I never finished it and painted over it, but I took these photos before doing so

 

Nice work. You didn't make yourself look very happy so I guess it must have been a difficult time.

This is a painting of Jack Kerouac, I did for one of my friends I thought I'd add it on here rather than make a whole new post. The subject seems fitting for the hipforums too
