Lucifer, the morning star, gave us the knowledge to see the difference between good and evil. He wanted to let us become immortal but "God" didn't allow that to happen. Lucifer is the holder of knowledge, to crucify his name and associate it with demonic entities is absurd.

Good and evil are two sides of the same coin, they co-exist but cannot exist without each other.

Uhm, it's not absurd to associate him with that at all. Wtf, he's portrayed as that for millenia. Whether he's seen as the evil seducer or the giver of knowledge, they remain only theories... except the first one has been commonly accepted as a religious doctrine.

Satan is a common misconception to most. Its just a word you call the boogeyman, Lucifer on the other hand is the morning star. Illuminati, like the video said.. God killed millions and Satan did nothing but present humanity with a choice. The two paths of good and evil

Hi everyone, i have been reading this interesting discussion and I think that for the beings that we are, with our brains that medicine and science in it's limitations can't understand, we people talk as if we know....Satan is this, the world is evolving like that.....i was just wondering if any one has actually been there, taken notes, and come back? There is a lot of certainty about something we cannot know unless we were there. That is my opinion only. Peace.

in early religion (before jesus) satan was known/viewed as the adversary of mankind. there are stories in books of all of gods angels sitting b4 him and god always turning to satan and saying "and what have you done today satan". i think its strange how the 3 main religions on earth have changed and evolved over time, as well as taken many aspects from other religions extinct or otherwise. egyptian paganism has many huge influences on the 3 major religions. ever hear of "amen" it really means amun, or the well king of all the other gods.

I don't think that's so strange at all. Once I got used to this idea that new religions borrow from former ones to make it easier for 'heathens' to transcend to the newly installed thing at that time I guess I would do the same. It seems rather natural as well (as far as religion is natural).

The best piece of scientific evidence that lends credibility to an ET or ED intervention is the fact that Zipf's law applies to 97% if the non-coding segments of human DNA, suggesting that the sequences are ordered like a written language.

I think there is a distinct good vs. evil but that our sense of it is perverted by authority structures to manipulate us. There's nothing within the horrors of the inquisition or the crusades that's in congruence with Christ's teaching to love your enemies.

Whether we realize it or not, we are all apart of the same entity we call the cosmos. Love is the realization of this truth. Hatred is ignorance, because its a denial or ignorance to this absolute truth.

I don't know that God made a mistake. God's all unmanifested potentials that lead toward a golden path. Satan is all the unmanifested potentials that lead to our demise. Satan is really extended from God in the sense that in order for there to be love, there has to be an antithesis. The anti-thesis is ultimately an illusion, in that were all one and that this anti-love is done in ignorance of the divine truth. Creation is a manifestation of those potentials in one variation or another.

I think evil is knowing what's good and doing the contrary of it, whether on a conscious or unconscious level. That's something human's need to come to terms with. You can't blame God or Satan for your actions, because they all amount to potentials. You can only blame yourself for manifesting potentials with destructive consequences.

Very nicely said. Although many people may not know how you are looking at this situation, I see from the same angle at this point of my life. Wise words.

Mythology? Is religion an extension of adults using their collective imagination? Some cultures discourage their children from imagination. Ideas and actions not based in reality are shunned and thought of as immature, foolish or dangerous. The question is why this need to develop and practice imagination? What is the evolutionary need for imagination?

Its probably that life for sentient beings would be dull without it. Plus, it allows humans to socially organize around archetypes.

Using your imagination already creates possibilities, more possibilities create more chance of survival.
