Hey folks im getting building a playlist for my new MP3 player, I'm really just wanting to fill it with tunes that will be good when im tripping, Ive got sphongle, all the aes dana albums, entheogenic, carbon based lifeforms etc etc but im lacking any psytrance though, i really like sasha LSD but Ive only been able to come across one of there songs for download so can only listen to them on youtube anybody heard of them and know where i can get it for download.

Anyway suggestions please doesn't strictly need to be psybient psytrance ambient whatever just anything really that will sound interesting when tripping.

    Thanks guys :)

Here be some psychill / psyambient / weird electronic lushness, too explore....

If you dig Shpongle then most of these will blow your mind, especially Shulman and Puff Dragon, who imo are 2 of the best producers to come out in the last few years, across all genres. The Puff Dragon album titled Sazanami (his first and only album under the P Dragon monkier) is one of those rare gems that wraps you up in the highest quality audible silk caccoon of golden nectar the entire duration of the album, from begining to end. No what I mean? Theres like silk, and then theres Puff Dragon....pretty f**king wizard s**t!! It was released on Dakini Records, an old skool, prominent label within the psychill/downbeat/ambient scene

If yah like any of these then flick me a pm and Ill be more than happy to lead you down a path of music weirdness, have been collecting vinyl, cds and audio files for a long time now. Even if you would like a couple of CD rips or wav/flac files, Ill be happy to help you out, though digital music is so redic cheap to buy now days, support the artists!!

What a great thread. I'm just now really getting into psytrance and ambient - I'm digging the scene as much as the music. I'd never even heard of Aes Dana until a DJ for the same label (Ultimae) gave me a cd. Thanks everyone for the ideas.

The whole album "Geogaddi" by Boards of Canada - my favourite
    The Orb - Blue Room
    Lucid Dreams - Big Gigantic
    Perpetual Light - Trilight

    Edit: Koan - Selena's Song
    - Odysseus Under the Old Tree

Literally only just discovered this guy (20 mins ago) and he's got some SICK ambient tracks. Album "Chronicle's of a Dying Breed" is rap/hip hop - I dunno what to call it but it's jazzy as hell and he's actually got some decent lyrics. Talented artist :)
