Hi all, this is my first post and I hope this is the right section.

Anyway, my friend took acid for the first time at 11:30 on Tuesday and his pupils are yet to contract as they used to. It's been almost 34 hours since he first took around 59ug - he's searched and this doesn't seem normal. When can he expect them to return to normal?

    Thanks!

50 ug is not a huge dose, but he could be very sensitive to LSD. Is he still feeling any effects?

he's only feeling perhaps a slight afterglow - still thinking deeply sometimes about where his life is going, the same as he was thinking right after the trip
He's also tried going out and looking out at the sky and his pupils contract slightly but as soon as he stops looking at something bright they dilate again

My friend had a similiar thing happen to him, he had it last for a week, we didnt know really what happened we took the same LSD we always do. But he just felt it in his system, for a week. He could put himself in and out of trips. But it disappeared after a week. Theory was his body just held on to it a little longer, but wasnt proven.

so this could be just a one time thing? he'd still like to take the rest of the tab but doesn't want his eyes to be like this even longer. He's on about 43 hours and counting with no improvement so far - any possibility this could be permanent?

edit: forgot to mention he went out in the sun for a few hours today and afterwards his pupils opened straight back up

well it's been almost 5 days, and his eyes seem to be back to normal - his pupils contract a lot more when exposed to light than they did before, thanks!

Umm, you said his pupils opened up again after sunlight, does that mean they did constrict in the sunlight? If that is the case, I am not sure there is really a problem. I can't even tell really a huge difference between my normal pupil dilation and my tripping pupil dilation.

They should be opening back up after you go into a darker place after you were in the sun. Is your friend that in touch with his eyes that he can really tell the difference between now and before?

they definately were more dilated than normal when they were dilated, and they're still pretty big but he doesn't have trouble in bright light now and his eyes adjust quickly - when they dilate now though it looks like they're bigger than before but looking at some old photos it looks like his pupils were always pretty big so its not a massive change

    edit:
he took 100ug last night and his eyes were fine in the morning so it must've just been a first time thing
