Is it wrong for me to ask him to pay me back?

Ok lets say you're buyin some bud from a friend. Alright, you meet up with him and you hand him $60. You see him get pulled by the cops while he's pickin up for you so you leave because you dont want to get in trouble. Ok so now you cant meet up with him for two weeks or so. When you can, you text him and ask him to meet up. He then says that he can't because he got drunk, left the bag on his nightstand for his mom to find. So his mom takes the bag and "flushes it". So now you are out $60 and weedless. Is it wrong to ask him to pay you back?

This is if his mom actually did flush the bag. I have a wierd feeling that he might have smoked it......

I'm definitely missing something. When you say you "saw him get pulled by the cops while he's pickin up for you"...do you mean he already had the weed? If so, why did he not go to jail and then you would have your answer about asking him for the weed - the :bobby: would have it.

However, if he was just pulled and harrassed (a very likely situation), why in the world would you wait 2 weeks to text him and ask for either the money or the weed? The next day - if the cops did NOT get any weed off of him, I'd be DEMANDING something - either money or weed. Period.

I think it's like Rolling said - his mom didn't find it...and I'd tell him I was going to have a little talk with her OR he BETTER come up with the weed or money. Don't let his ass play you.

ps - tires can be very expensive

 

Haha, I wont be slashing any tires anytime soon...but I am tired of being pushed around by this kid.

I totally would have gotten it the next day, but I dont have a car and that was the only time i could get a ride. I've seen him a few times at school since this all went down. He told me he got pulled for a seatbelt violation, but we saw two cop cars pull up. They made my friend get out the car (he had the weed then). My brother and his friend (my ride) flipped out when they saw because they're in the navy and were worried about what might have happened.

 

this is like the best solution there is. If she really did find it, he won't have a problem with you asking her about it, and in that case prepare to be scolded by friend's mom.

Hon, that doesn't sound good at all...the cops could've found the weed and
"arranged" for him to rat-n-roll. Yeah - if you are in school with this jackass, I'd say word of mouth to ANYBODY he might "deal" with would be in order.
I don't blame you being tired of getting pushed around by him - but (jmo) I wouldn't have a damn thing to do with him anymore.
