An absolutely amazing film. One of my personal favorites. Evrytime you see it , you want to do the time warp again!
I absolutely hate this movie, as I do all musicals. But that's my problem not yours. The only good thing about that movie is Susan Sarandon in her undies.
I remember watching it on TV for the first time when I was little.....I remember thinking "what the heck is going on here" haha but I LOVE IT!
I'm crazy about it. Like... I'm pretty much one of those crazed RHPS fans who knows all the little things you're supposed to shout back at the people. A college near me does a version of it near halloween (coincidentally on my school's homecoming night... needless to say i've never been to homecoming) and everyone goes in costume. It's fantastic. This year my boyfriend and I are going as Riff Raff and Magenta and one of our friends is going as "the candyman" ("...He's just a little brought down because/when you knocked/he thought you were the candyman!"). I thought it was genius.
Rocky horror picture show... BY FAR the BEST cult movie ever! I am completely obsessed with it. TIM CURRY IS GOD!!! I own pretty much anything I can get that has anything to do with it. All costumes. Video. Dvd. International sountrack on CD and casette. Original soundtrack on CD and Record. And broadway soundtrack on CD and Record. Its astounding. I love it. Not to mention I have 3 posters. and a Frank N Furter action figure. I fuggan LOVE this movie.... Who all goes to see it at theatre and dresses up? ME!!!
Well ive never seen the whole movie, but it was pretty good, my mom used to be like obsessed with it when she was younger
I love it. I own it and I generally don't bother with owning movies. I also own the sound track. When the kids get into it, I will take them to a local showing on Halloween! Yeah!
oh god best fricken movie of ALL time =] my favourite =] all my friends know im obsessed with it, i watch it all the time and make all my friends watch it haha, sing the songs to them, quote like everything from the movie, dance haha its so great! all the songs are so good and its so funny and weird and cool and the costumes and just...everything! and tim is so sexy and richard o'brien is so good aswell! His voice is pretty much my favourite =] and i think he's really good looking, but as riff raff, not really in real life and me and my friend, when we first watched it, decided that she would be Columbia, and I would be Magenta hahaha, but now I want to be Frank, or Riff Raff haha =] i would LOVE to go to one of those shows! one of my dreams it would be amazing =] to dress up, and be with fellow fans =] i dont think iv ever really met a fan of the movie, just a few people that have seen the movie, and think its really weird and scary haha i have shock treatment on dvd aswell, i really dont like it i expected it to be better, i guess. But i didnt like it at all but yeh, favourite movie of all time most of my fav songs are from there peace and love jane
I love this film! I went to see the show when I was a shy 13 year old - what an eye opening experience that was! Life has never been the same since, lol! I have just being doing the timewarp for my 3 month old daughter, you can never start em too young. I was gonna say my favourite bit is - but I can't think of just one!! It's all excellent. You gotta love Richard O'Brien though, the guy is so strange! I used to watch the Crystal Maze when I was a little kid, i had no idea of the kinky things that could go on inside his mind!
I take that back. Since i posted that iv seen Shock Treatment like 20 times it grows on you. Just don't compare it to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, its different but the music is still good (not AS good, but still good ) Richard O'Brien *sigh* he's so great
As much as I loved this film, after GLEE devoted an episode to it, I can't even consider it cult anymore. Doesn't lessen my love for it, but how does anyone still consider this a 'cult' film?
I love RHPS, but the GLEE thing was really an abomination! I was watching it with a friend and she just couldn't understand my pain. I was cringing the whole time we watched it. I've been to Berlin last month and it seems they are doing a big show of RHPS with a lot of well known actors. WHY??? It's just not Rockky Horror. It really destroys the spirit. Capitalists, don't eat the soul of a play just because yours is already sold to Mammon. I remember watching the Film late at night and falling in love with it and then going to see the stage version in a semi-small theatre, which was fabulous. Good times. Maybe it's not cult anymore but it's still a love of my life  It often happens that a good thing goes from niche to mainstream and people who loved it before are like "noo, that's MY teddy. And it's not supposed to have green ears" Sadly we can't do anything but hope it'll be out of the limelight soon.
