Aside from expecting a lot of rejection and having to stand outside for 8 hours a day, rain or shine, is there anything else I should know - good or bad - about working for Greenpeace? The answers to this question on the web are divided, but I have been on this site (under a different name) for a REALLLLLLLY long time now and I trust the folks here more than the people on Yahoo Answers lol.

So I guess my questions are:

    - Have you ever worked for Greenpeace before?
    - Did you love/hate it? Would you do it again? Why or why not?
    - Compared to other sales/quota based jobs, was it better or worse?
    - How long did you work for Greenpeace?
    - Anything else you feel I should know before I work for Greenpeace?

I haven't worked for Greenpeace, but I personally support that organization, though.

I have a close friend who worked for greenpeace for several years.
He got pretty far in the place, but then he quit.
He said after going to their big-wig meetings he found out it was all a big scam.
He's in WWOOFing now, like me, but he says if he ever went back into that type of work he'd go to sea shepherd or something similar rather than greenpeace again.
