Who's going this year? Tickets go on sale this Friday. They released the line up the other day: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/09/coachella-2012-lineup-ann_n_1195415.html I think it's a decent lineup but I was sold once Radiohead was confirmed. Been trying to see them for years but it never worked out. Also I've never been to California and I have heard good things about this festival so I figured why not? Hopefully I get tickets before they sell out. So anyone else going this year? How about past Coachella goers, any good tips or stories?
They started selling tickets last year. The ones theyre selling this friday start at like 285 for the 3 day pass. But yea i wanna go really badly
Yeah I heard they had presale tickets up a while ago. 285 is pricey but I recently came into some good fortune (i.e. a new job) so I'll be able to afford it. The Coachella website is down right now from too much traffic, can't imagine what Friday will be like
Overpriced hipster shit is what Coachella is.... not that there are not some great bands performing there. It's just overhyped. There are some good bands on the list, but more not so great ones.
While I do agree with this I think the draw of the great bands on the lineup outweigh the drawbacks of the shitty ones, at least for me personally
I doubt I'm going but I'd be all about Saturday! Radiohead is one of the few bands that I really want to see that I haven't yet and at Coachella would be that much more amazing.
The Fan Jam Rock&Roll tailgate by Rollong Stone is coming. Janes Addiction and the Roots are headlining. $500.!!!! The Super Bowl will be in town so everything's Super expensive. Greedy!
