    My complaints are as follows:

    1. This forum ain't happening enough.

    2. The coffee shops near my house sell crap.

    3. People just don't talk about oranges as much as they really should.

Oranges are so round and juicy and filled with orangey goodness... they really need their own thread. Please discuss your love of all things orange-related here.

Hey! Clemintines are on sale this time of year! Mmmmmm...

I guess that even if you're booing oranges, you're still talking about them...good to see.

Brace yourselves, orange fans. I have a situation here involving mold...:&

Because the word "orange" is the name of the fruit. The colour "orange" was actually named after the fruit, not the other way round.

Anyway, I'm allergic to oranges. Why wasn't this thread about mangoes?

That is to say, there was no word "orange" in the English language until oranges the fruit came to Europe.

There was only yellow and red. Yellowey oranges were "yellow" the rest were "red". It's odd to think that a whole colour didn't have a name, heh?

Maybe pumpkins were just "pumpkin-colored"? There are some other words for colors in English that are the same as the things they are: eggplant, turquoise, rose, sky blue, cinnamon, and ash.
