    I'm on the gulf coast of Florida, and I know where it is... I also know towns like Pembroke... And, Nairne Centre... I used to go through that area quite often.

    When I first read this I thought it said "Cambodia" and I was going to be like :eek: For how long!!!

    I just googled Colombia.. I thought it was a state, never knew it was in South America :eek:

    I've given a lot of thought to spending large blocks of time out of the US for various reasons. I have spent time in Peru and have a lot of comfortable connections with people there. Most of my time has been along the Amazon River near Iquitos.

    I'm not interested in any kind of business or enterprise period. I have a couple of small retirement incomes and a small amount of rental money that I could live off of.
    I heard that Belize uses English as a common language which would be of some help to my limited Spanish. I assume the weather would be very similar to the lowlands of Peru but I don't know.

    If you would feel comfortable in saying why you picked Belize I would greatly appreciate the information. Equally if it's none of my business thats OK too.
