Hi all, Ive been on .5mg suboxone for the past 2days and .75 the 3 days before that. How long do I have to wait to use the hydros without side effects? I'm not trying to quit, never was, just used the sub when I ran out. Any experiences would be great. It's been a while since I used and I cant wait. Thanks.
stay away from that bullshit suboxone, i took it for a month and it made my tolerance high as fuck, it now takes me 3 times as much to get off as it did before even a month later, as far as how long after you take it to be able to get high again id say 5 days to be on the safe side, this way you dont waste your opiates
Your statement is not very helpful. Just because you don't like Suboxone does not mean other people do not find it useful- for recreation and maintenance. In reality, if you stick to taking a LOW dose of Suboxone every day (less than 3.5 mg), then your tolerance will not shoot up. In fact, a tolerance to Suboxone builds at a small fraction of that of Morphine for example. As to the OP's question: I would wait 24-36 hours before taking Hydrocodone. Such small doses of Suboxone will not put you in precipitated w/d if you wait a day.
Steel, you are 100% right. It's is shit and I wish I never started but things dried up by me and people were charging rediculous amounts for those little blue power pills so I had to make a $$ decision. But I'm back now and can't wait. Thanks for the input. Etkearne, I suspected that at the small dose I am on(never went over 1mg for 3 weeks now and tapered myself to where I am) that it wouldn't be as long as others had stated but maybe I'm only hearing what I want to hear. My main worry is getting sick more than getting high. If I wait one day from last dose I shouldn't be sick, right? It's when you go from drugs to subs that the time between is more crucial than going from subs to drugs.
