Starbucks is part of the 1% and should be boycotted.

 

That makes me chuckle, and I will add that in my opinion Starbucks is not that bad of a corporation as far are multinationals go. They got their problems for sure, including only token support for fair trade coffee (as of the last time I have been in one). However, they pay their workers fairly well . . . if you compare them to fast food. A top Starbucks ceo did participate in our Governor's Sustainability Work Group a few years ago in the State of Washington, and they did support most of our recommendations.

 

I think the guy who designed it wanted to troll Starbucks, and it went over their heads.

 

Guy Fawkes is a symbol of Occupy now?

Maybe Starbuck's supports the Occupy Movement and Anonymous.

 

Howard Schultz can be a wild card and his board of directors have to real him in on occasion. I'm sure he had something to do with it.

 

We find what we look for or the view depends on the direction we look in.

I remember me and some friends went to a local Starbucks and asked if they could donate any goods to the Occupy community. We got a shitload of pastries, bananas, and DONUTS

Went back to camp, & spread the joy of pastries.

It was a good day in the Occupy stronghold. Donuts were delicious, salutes.
