Wondering if you quit cold turkey for 5 days and suffer the withdrawals at minimal cost (just vitamins n stuff, no opiates at all including subs n methadone) .. will you withdraw if you relapse on the 6th day? like if your use to doing 2 opana40s a day for 2 years and quit suddenly and on the 6th or 7th day you relapse using only 1 of them.. Will 1) you feel as good as you did before using 2 since you quit for a short while and 2) if u use once will the next day you just feel like you did before you used or would you go thru the terrible withdrawals you got the first time u quit?? thanks!

I've only ever withdrawn from diazepam and dihydrocodeine/codeine phosphate, so I have no idea how bad the withdrawal is to opana40s. BUT... I always find the 'getting off of the drug' after prolonged (months/years) the worse withdrawal. I'm not sure you'd even get a relapse withrawal, and I doubt it would be anything like the first withdrawal.

But then my experience is with weaker drugs.

What I would say is well done for stopping anyway, I wish I could. I'm sure you know if you take another dose you're going to want another. and another...

Are you saying you got off of daily use of Opana for 2 years and you are on your 5th day and are thinking of taking one tomorrow? You should be feeling like shit right now, 6 days would have you already out of the worst of it, although Opana 40s are time released which could cause your withdrawal to go on a bit longer than say Oxy 30s.Can you explain the purpose of the question a little more?

thanks for your input saruh, ill keep the info in mind when decidin my purpose..

and bottlefed.. long story short i just got out of detox , and bcuz they found subs in my system the first day they couldn't give me and methadone or suboxone and instead leaned me off with somehting thats not even an opiate and so basically thats what i mean cold turkey .. (sort of ) .. and i still withdraw as of now bcuz i've been puttin it off when i got discharged ( 1m suboxone each day the past 2 days since i got out) and i'm wondering if i relapsed would my withdrawals be like as severe as when i got admitted to detox the first night or would they not be as bad since my body 'sort of' went thru them alreddy.. if u understand what i'm sayin?

Ahhh ok got it. When you say relaspe, are you talking a 1 time thing, or just getting back into opiates for a period of time, If its a 1 time thing, you probably wont feel anything because you went threw withdrawals already. Doing it once isnt gonna bring full on withdrawals back. Withdrawals are based on Doses over time, longer you do it, more intense the withdrawals get, unless, you lower your intake over time before jumping off! Unfortunately, Opiates have a Memory from hell, but once u physically withdraw from it, the memory is gone, physically speaking. The meantal Withdrawal is a whole nother thing altogether!

alright exactly what i was wondering! the first part.. My mind state is actually clear now and I don't hurt or feen for anything even though I still get chills and stomachaches .. Although i'm bout to hit 8 days clean I feel like taking an opana40 or shooting up some H once because I'm going on vacation for awhile and thus no longer going 2 do anything (hopefully)
