Looking for my Father..last seen in Ocula Forest Area~PLEASE HELP-IF YOU CAN...

family scouting for the ocala gathering might know about your dad, or be able to put up signs for you

did the businesses say that they were going to put up the signs?

 

PLEASE COULD YOU LOOK AT MY LINK AND SEE IF YOU KNOW ANY INFORMATION ON MY FATHER OR KNOW HOW TO GET HIM MY INFORMATION.....PLEASE! TIME IS RUNNING OUT...EACH DAY MY GRANDMOTHER GETS WORSE....



My grandmother is not doing good at all.....it breaks my heart for her, she lost her oldest son a year ago today and wants so bad to speak with my father before she goes, she thinks that he thinks she is already gone, since she had to move into a nursing home and her number of 50 years was disconnected....He always kept in touch with her.

I have gotten some useful information which I posted in the comments of the blog I linked at the bottom, with his pictures) that said he has been known to hang at a certain Winn Dixie in Ocala Fl...I made a flyer (minus the pictures) and I searched all the businesses around that Winn Dixie, plus the Winn Dixie and I sent them to the businesses and pleaded for them to put them in their windows... But I am not even sure they posted them......

Hopefully someone will come through and get my messages to him, I don't know what else to do, it's a 13 1/2 hour drive to that Winn Dixie (where I have found he could be around) from my house, which I would gladly go do, but my car needs wheels and I haven't been able to scrap up the money yet, but first chance I get I will be taking a road trip.

But I am afraid it's getting close and I don't know how much time we have left so please I beg of you guys, I know some of you guys don't like to give out information on people, in order to respect their privacy and I get that, but please if you can get any information to him through anyone please do...as you will see that he will gladly accept the information....

He always told me he's biggest fear is that he won't be able to be found if something was to happen to my grandmother and he wouldn't get to say goodbye...I am trying so hard to make it possible for him to say his goodbyes and for her to know that he is ok before she goes...

PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS OR OTHER IDEAS OR COULD HELP, MAYBE YOU LIVE CLOSE TO THERE AND i COULD SEND YOU THE FLYER TO PUT UP SO i KNOW FOR SURE THAT IT IS UP......My GRANDMOTHER, MYSELF AND MY FATHER (WILL TOO)...APPRECIATE ANYTHING YOU CAN OFFER......

did you follow the link I posted? I think that if you contact the guy who is involved with the ocala scouting camp, you might get some help there

maybe you could try sending a pm to lovione. I don't know how lovione got in touch with folks, but maybe there is a way to ask them directly to help look for your dad

Yes I have tried to contact him but I am not allowed to PM or something and I don't want to make anyone mad by asking on his thread... I tried to PM lovione too, but it says I do not have permission to access..so I am not sure how to go about doing that..

I plan on going to Ocala Gathering. If I see him and recognize him I will tell him about this thread. If I can get power for my laptop I will let him post. I may be heading there with friends who have a van so if I get a adapter I can get online if they have enough battery power. I have mobile broadband, but who knows if I can get a signal. I know how it is. I haven't seen my dad since I was the same age. Never got contact. But my stepdad and mom did not make it easy. I heard he passed on. I wish I knew. I wish I had a vehicle so I could go to my hometown and try and look up him or his family. I will do what I can and that is all I can promise.

THANK YOU THAT WOULD BE Wonderful...I'd really appreciate ANY help that ANY person could offer....also I have been doing all this searching and investigating and I can help you find a death certificate if you have enough information on your real dad, at least then you might have some closure if he has passed....I also have located my brother and sister searching the internet so if you'd like any help in seeing what you can find, email me the information you know and I'll help you as much as I can....thanks again....

I promised to look for him at the Ocala Gathering and I am sorry I cannot. I have a family emergency and must travel to Oklahoma instead and take care of it. I wish you luck.

 

I have a good friend in Ocala and my brother lives in Silver Springs, I'll send the pics and ask if they've seen him around. It's worth a try, you never know.

Thanks to anyone that can help.....If anyone wouldn't mind posting some fliers I have around the ocala area please let me know so I could mail them to you, I sent some to the business around there but from what others in area have told me they haven't seen any...so I think they didn't post them for me...so I don't know where to turn now...thanks

Haven't heard anything yet, sorry. I'll get back in touch, they're probably quite busy...my brother has a five year old and it's Christmas time, you know how that goes.

 

HELLO ALL....i RECEIVED A LETTER OVER THE WEEKEND THAT STATED THIS:
"my son and I drove him to Silver Springs. Daniel knew exactly where to go and directed me deep into some woods which made me get scared. He saw that his friends no longer lived there and as a matter of fact they had been gone awhile because the grasses and weeds and vines had grown up around the house. He then wanted to be taken back into the little business area ( a laundromat and country type store and across the road was a wooded area with a large body of water which is where he was going to stay"
