Remember when we'd play with tamagotchi's instead of nintendo ds' or iphones?
Remember when Scooters were the coolest things ever
And trainers that light up when you walked!!
And we used to play Spyro on PS1!
And mario was 2D.

Ahh..

 

I remember the tamagotchi things but scooters were never cool. =p
I've been thinking of what to get my 7 year old niece for Xmas but seriously, what do you get a kid who's got their own iPad?

 

I remember when kids played outside, sometimes just kicking a ball about or jumping rope.

I miss those days and seeing them do it.

 

You might go to the craft store and round her up some supplies.

 

Yeah that's what we usually do. She's still interested in craft and stuff. I've got her a whole bunch of crayons and testers and stuff. They don't look as cool as I remember them to be.

 

Good times. Spyro was the shit. And light up shoes. If I could still find a pair of light up shoes in my size I would jump on that shit.

 

I remember playing with rocks and sticks.....

 

You could try beads; like jewelry making geared toward kids her age.

I remember back in the days when we still had an office cricket match (lawyers vs support staff ... and the women made the tea!) one of the senior lawyers had a daughter who proudly showed me her tamagotchi.

I pressed a few buttons at random ... and it never recovered! She never spoke to me again :mickey:

 

I remember 8-tracks,cassette tapes, records, Beta, VHS.

I remember Big Wheels, He-man, She-Ra,.....

I remember being able to play out side till the street lights came on...........

 

Oh yes! Hopscotch was my thing. It was the coolest thing ever at the time.

 

one of my neighbors had a green machine and the bastard would never let anyone else ride it

 

My sister and I had one I think she had a Girl's version mine was "Big Wheel" I remember the flamey type sticker with the name lol


You know what else I remember Star Wars before Lucas added extra crap.

I remember Gizmo, wax on wax off.......

 

Remember pogs and actually good cartoons that made sense not this crap on tv now

 

I remeber vinyl, instead of CD's, and Walkmans instead of iPods. I even vaigly remember 8-track tapes. I think I just dated myself,LOL

 

I remember being able to play outside till the streetlights came on.
