So, music and movies tend to be my favorite things to experience while I'm tripping on acid. So, what music and movies have you enjoyed the most while tripping?

I enjoy a lot of Umphrey's McGee along with a bunch of DJ Mixes from some Chicago djs (Dubstep, electro, thrash kind of stuff). The Offspring is really good too.

Anything funny when it comes to movies. The new harold and kumar in 3d is amazing while tripping. Lmao. I also really enjoy Pineapple Express, and anything of that sort. Season 3 & 4 of Weeds is good also, along with pretty much all of 30 Rock.

For me animation is the one whilst tripping. Yellow Submarine, Heavy Metal, La Planète Sauvage, Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, Dead Leaves (although your eyes might hurt after about 10 minutes). Also Jim Henson's 'The Dark Crystal' is pretty nuts and hilarious with Lucy.

    ^ Love Simon and Garfunkel.

If you check out anything, around 9:15 on part two is notable...

I generally just like to put on some cheesy hollywood dramatic bullshit like The Perfect Storm, a Steven Seagal movie, or something to that nature with some friends and enjoy some mockery and laughter.

I like documentaries a lot, among other things.

    These are some good ones.
Gonzo: The Life and Works of Hunter Thompson
    Berkeley in the Sixties
    Woodstock
    No Direction Home

I know there are others that I really enjoyed while tripping but I can't remember right now. I really recommend Gonzo, especially if you don't know a lot about Hunter S. Thompson. He was a really incredible fellow.

Honestly I kinda enjoy black metal, death metal, death/doom metal when I'm tripping. Stuff like Dimmu Borgir, Acid Witch, Finntroll that has the growling vocals...for whatever reason I find it either hilarious or just really cool sounding.

I also like industrial/electronic type music with harsh vocals or even without harsh vocals if there are elements of rock and metal in it. Then of course Psychedelic rock like The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Attack, Strawberry Alarm Clock ect.

As for movies I don't usually watch movies when I trip, but last time I was on acid I watched part of Lord Of The Rings and it looked really cool...unfortunatly that was probably the worst acid trip I've had so far as it just turned out to be kinda boring and not very intense. A couple problems with the setting plus 1 hit of what turned out to be quite weak made for a not so great experiance.

I've listened to Akercocke (black/death metal) on a psylocibin truffles trip and iit gave me the one of the most intense inner-body feelings I've ever had on a trip. Their music kicks your brain around the room because of the numerous tempo changes and breaks all within a short a short amount of time. If you're into that sorta stuff check out the albums, 'Rape of the Bastard Nazarene', 'Goat of Mendes' and 'Chorozon'.

That is a good way to describe how that sort of music feels/sounds while tripping. I'll have to check those albums out they sound like they could be good. But yeah that is a good way of describe how that sort of music is while tripping.

the best movie i've seen on acid is cheech and chong's nice dreams. really any cheech and chong movie is amazing on acid. as per music i like to listen to flux pavillion and skrillex for dubstep, for rock, led zeppelin, pink floyd, and tool. of course the beatles are great. suprisingly one of the best trips i had i was listening to marilyn manson and tech n9ne. some of my fave songs to trip to are third eye, comfortably numb, poisonous by tech n9ne, lucy in the sky with diamonds, that type shit
