I know I'm lucky to have the life that I do. But sometimes I can't help but think of the little things that just make life seem so unfair. And I'm sure everyone has the same trouble.

Like something that makes life unfair for me, is the fact that I'm vegetarian, but allergic to both soy and dairy.

What's some small thing in your life that is just unfair?

I think it's unfair that I can't be with my love.
It's also unfair that I live so far away from my old friends.
And the way my father treats me is also unfair.

Nothing. I deserve what I get, and I get what I deserve. I'm blessed in the fact that I seem to be made of steel at this point in time. Life honestly is making me feel untouchable, even though it's been horrible the past year. It's hard to explain, but I feel that everything is in balance in my life, and that nothing that has happened to me is unfair, or undeserved.

I am so incredibly blessed with my life but have had some things happened that made me wonder if god has a way of evening things out. So whenever anything good happens it's bittersweet because I am expecting something bad to follow.

I just do not understand why anyone would put the words "life" and "fair" in the same sentence. It is almost an oxymoron............

Yeah, most things in my life I feel like I deserve, other than the soy/dairy thing (I did nothing to deserve that!).

Right now, the unfair thing about my life is I have a physical tommorrow, and I have to shell out like $100-plus for my physical. My insurance ran out when my work visa and teaching contract expired, so I gotta shell out some money for my physical.

its not fair or unfair its just the way it is. i dont think anyone deserves to have a perfect life anyway!

i dont have any allergies that im aware of aside from a particular type of sunscreen and sometimes shell fish gives me heartburn.... it was your choice to be a vegetarian, you werent born that way (so i think).. personally i like a big juicy piece of meat to rip into

Life is fair. You get some good things, and some bad things. Naturally the bad things will always seem to be more extreme and more frequent than the bad because we remember that more and have a harder time accepting it. Acceptance is the key to inner peace, atleast it has been the only thing helping me along the way.

soy is so bad for people anyways. it's a hormone disrupter. so you're better off not consuming it anyways.

    besides, there's always nuts...

See! Trish has the proper spirit! :)

I may not have been exaclty born a vegetarian, but I was born with the personality that I have and my personality and mind tells me that raising animals to die and destroying the environment is wrong.

If soy is so bad, how come the Asians have been eating it for centuries and they are on average far healthier than Westerners?

How come I felt 20 times healthier back when I could eat soy?

That is for people she didn't personally tell her name too? Just in case you didn't know, we actually have talked to each other. And if she doesn't want me to call her that, I respect it if she is the one telling me. I don't care whether you think I should or not. It is up to her.
