I'm planning to move from the US to Alberta. I need to know what documents I'll need to obtain, and bring with me. Like: police Records, Health Records, whatever I might want to be sure to have. Can anyone answer these questions? I have already tried the Consulate in Los Angelas, and got a fucking computer! Help me please? I'll be under the Family Plan.
unless there is a specific reason to go to Alberta (exception being Calgary), don't. Any other province is better.
OSF's link looks like it should have the info you need. i did the opposite (lived in the states for a year on a t1 visa), but that was totally different--they needed paperwork about my job, i had my birth certificate and passport, etc. they didnt need any criminal record checks or anything like that--they have access to all of that information in their computers anyways. Are you getting married in vegas or in alberta? if you're getting married here, then maybe you would enter the country as a visitor and then apply for all of the paperwork afterwards? i really dont know. maybe there's a person that you could talk to on one of the govt 1800 numbers. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/call.html try on this page, maybe? Congratulations, anyways!! and all the best luck to you! (alberta's not all bad, there are some really beautiful places there, and the sky is bigger than anything you can imagine... sun dogs and chinooks. )
there probably is some nice things in alberta but i didn't find many. just rig pigs doing blow in bar bathrooms, oil rigs, and shitty hockey teams. i hate the fucking flames.
I have my reasons for Alberta. And the CIC site(s) are no help to me. That's where I got the number that was only one of those Computer systems. You know the one. Press 1 for..... Press 2 for..... No help at all. Thanks for trying, guys.
