What preference do you have as far as a guys wang, Circumcised or non? I was when I was born, now that I'm older I think it was best, but still not sure why they do it...
Definitely no. I feel bad for the poor baby boys who get a sensitive part of them snipped early on without consent! D: And I just prefer uncut.
I've always wished I had not been cut and look on it as gential mutilation - have not had my son cut - but it's a bit worrying to see that two-thirds of the respondents prefer uncut cocks :-( Still there were only six voting so far - is it so different for you girls? What difference do u feel? Simon
Definitely not. I'm from Ireland and have had sex mainly with Irish and other European guys. Uncircumcised is what I'm used to. I know it's the norm in the US but it looks really unnatural to me and I can't help thinking of those poor little baby boys whom nobody asked if they wanted a bit of their penis cut off. Also I can't imagine that the sensation is the same with the foreskin protecting the sensitive part.
I have a bit of a phimosis due to a previous penile injury causing scarring from some years ago & have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow about it. I know circumcision may be the only solution, as steroid creams haven't worked, but I'm praying that if worst comes to the worst & surgery is required, that I can get away with a partial 'V' cut.
My first lover was uncircumcised and I liked the look and feel of his penis. My husband is also uncircumcised and I like the look and feel of his penis. In between my first lover and my husband I was intimately familiar with a number of penises, some circumcised and some natural, and I have always preferred natural penises. If you are circumcised, it was probably done when you were a very young baby and you had no choice in the matter, so don't feel bad about it. I am sure your girl friend or wife is happy with your equipment. However, I am very pleased that my husband has a natural penis.
Ok growing up in Canada as the norm I had cut, but then I hooked up with my man now and his is natural. I have to say at first was a bit, umm but now I believe there is a reason why it's there. But in saying that, if I had an uncut one cut one...... as long as they can do the job in the end.
It is a matter of individual choice, which you like best. If not washed regularly, with the foreskin pulled back, smegma can collect under the foreskin which smells. Uncut penises have been shown to be more susceptible to transmitting sexual diseases, as the viruses can get trapped under the foreskin and enter the body through the underside of the foreskin. Bono (of U2) has urged that male circumcision be the normal practice, to reduce the spread of AIDS. I am cut, done at birth, with a loose cut which allows me to pull the remaining foreskin entirely over the glans when soft and 2/3 over it when hard. My foreskin sits just behind the glans when not erect. The best of both worlds.
Guys with foreskin obviously need to put a little more effort into hygiene, but I haven't encountered many guys who failed to do this, based on odor. Most uncut guys are probably well aware that they aren't going to get much oral sex if they don't keep everything clean down there. In terms of vaginal sex, the only difference I've noticed is that a circumcised penis is slightly more prone to drying out, since the whole shaft is exposed to air on each stroke. Foreskin conserves moisture. When a guy is able to thrust for a long time without coming, his precome and her vaginal juices have to be produced just as fast as they dry up, or else they eventually have to stop and apply more artificial lube. A woman produces less natural moisture at certain times of the month (especially older women), so a guy's foreskin can be a slight advantage to her. It certainly would never be a big enough issue to make me want to pick one guy over another. There are a lot more important things to consider. I have no direct way of knowing whether or not the circumcision issue seriously affects a guy's level of pleasure, but I have never noticed any difference in guys' degree of enthusiasm for sex. They all seem to enjoy it enough that they want to keep on doing it as often as possible. So maybe the difference in sensation isn't all that much. I've heard several women say that they don't care to have sex very often because their orgasms are not very strong. But I still think it is wrong to make this kind of a nonessential medical decision on behalf of someone who is too young to understand and give consent. Why is this one thing exempt from standard medical ethics? Doctors are taught that informed consent from a patient is always important, unless it isn't possible to get it, and there might be serious adverse consequences from failing to do a procedure or delaying it. I completely agree with that rule.
My first real boyfriend was uncircumcised. I experienced both circumcised and uncircumcised in high school and college. My husband (for 24 years) is circumcised. I am glad for that because I prefer uncircumcised penises. Oh, I know that during intercourse there really is no detectable difference, but when performing oral sex on them or giving them handjobs, there is a difference. I can feel the difference in my mouth and in my hand and I much prefer a penis that has an intact foreskin. This is especially true for appearance -- I really prefer the look of an uncircumcised penis. Those are my preferences; yours may vary.
Either way is fine. I`ve only had one guy without it... it was pretty gross; but natural is still better.
Today's New York Times reports that circumcision before the first sexual experience lowers the risk of prostate cancer by 15%. It is the problem of STDs entering the body from the underside of the foreskin after sex, when the penis gets soft and the foreskin recovers the glans.
