Holy fuck! Maybe I have a hero complex, but at that point, I can't believe people listened, they knew something was coming, but should have kept their hands clearly visible and said "no, we're occupying, we can't lie down for you, maybe later etc" and verbally called attention to the wildly disproportionate police behavior. Police could have shot someone in the foot for "refusing to follow orders", and made excellent publicity, or at least there would have been some awesome videos of them beating the living shit out of people with raised hands. So.... Why didn't I see this picture on the national fucking news? They tell you every time a homeless person shows up in zucotti park, but not when swat teams try to real-ize their violent video games?
yeah, that happened about 3 blocks from our occupation. If I can find the march we did from the police station to the Town Council meeting I will.
