Lawyers speak to judges, juries, other lawyers and then bill the defendents.
The lawyer's job is to do his/her job well and that means to win their case.
Lawyers want the jury to see the defendent as a blessed saint.

Defendents are always suspected of being guilty or they would not be on trial.
The defendents job is to be found either 'guilty' or 'not guilty' by the court.
Defendents are not allowed to speak unless they swear to tell the truth.
