iv smoked DMT with a shaman once and ever since then iv been fascinated. i recently took a Lucy trip last week and since iv been stuck on rediscovering and learning more about DMT. everything changed last night. iv never experienced what i did last night. the dream was so real that i didnt know what was going on. during my dream i smoked DMT and did LSD and felt the same exact effects during the dream as if i were really iv been doing it! and i remember the dreams perfectly as if it was just a trip i took last night and woke up this morning. in fact during the dream i spilled about 6 hits of acid on my hand while dropping some on my tongue and an unknown amount of time later is when i lost all sense of what was going on. Almost as if my mind could activate (tripping) just by sleeping and being in dream state. i woke up a few times and fell back to sleep after smoking a bowl where...i had a DMT experience!! i was in the amazon drinking some kind of juice around a fire when the fire turned into the sun and i got sucked into a infinite yellow light that seemed to last all eternity. i remember speaking to the shaman saying things like. this is what life is supposed to be...then i woke up this morning iv done saliva the correct way and been to another place that just isnt here, out of my third eye and i could control alot during that trip...i felt like i was under control of the dream to the point that i could say what i wanted to but the dream was still gong to move forward and happen. i actually learned last night from a dream people... that's mind boggling <3 only been doing psychedelics bout 13 months now and am looking forward to many great adventure as to these. the energy in DMT is intense and i look forward to stepping into that Dimension of time again soon.
It's incredible isn't it?! Your mind is actually capable of doing that, after you have had the experience, you are capable of replicating it in the dream world. Or, in fact even guess what an experience is like, for instance, I've smoked pot before I ever smoked a cigarette, and I've dreamed about smoking a cigarette and it felt real. I've yet to do DMT, but I've done LSD and DMT in my dream and the LSD was completely like the same thing (I've done LSD in my dream like 4-5 times now!) but the DMT was nothing like the actual drug, because I have no mental experience of it. --I know it wasn't like DMT at all based off of everything I know, and I know for a fact that my dream wasn't like DMT, but I've had VERY vivid dream LSD trips! One problem with it however though, is I've been feeling like I need to take a break from it, so I question why I do it in my dream and have some bad feelings on the trip, which feel just like real life in more of a negative way Now the only thing that sucks is you don't learn from that experience all that much, and it isn't as clear as taking LSD in real life, like I can't just throw on some music like in real life and have it feel accurate, but it's incredible! Dream on!
I had a DMT dream experience before I tried it and it was absolutely nothing like the actual DMT trip. In my dream experience I smoked it and then like transported to a movie theater parking lot and was basically for lack of a better word 'drunk' off the DMT. It's difficult for me to imagine (m)any people can replicate the complexity, velocity and alien perfection of the DMT trip in a dream.
^^Now that is mostly true, due to the fact that you are not as conscious of the event in a dream, it will not accurately depict the awe factor, also I'm not a hundred percent sure how DMT affects the brain, so I don't know if it is possible to reach that state of mind naturally. Where as with LSD it is actually an achievable state of mind, meditation for instance can reach the same complexity. Now I wonder if you have a DMT dream after you've had the experience if it can visually replicate some of the factors though? I feel like that may be a little too complicated... but i don't know. yet...
I have had some incredibly vivid dreams the nights following a DMT trip before, I even brought it up in the psy bump thread to see if that was a common reaction. But the dreams weren't about tripping on DMT, they were just random dreams but with a feeling of clarity and realness to them that I could only think somehow the DMT played a role in, like my brain wasn't fully back to homeostasis yet or something. The end goal of meditation can reach similar states of awareness of LSD but personally I'm skeptical medititation can replicate an LSD experience. There have been some here who have mentioned some of their dreams having similar elements that are found in the DMT experience in their dreams.
