I live on Miami Beach and I know opossum live all over here.

Still, when you are rolling your bike down the 2nd story balcony going to work at 7 in the morning it is kinda surprising to see one sitting on the porch furniture.

I think this young one was there for the cat food that a neighbor was leaving outside. Musta climbed up the tree and got on the porch. It didn't play dead but was very still as I looked at it (and hung out for me to dig my cam outta the bag and get a couple pics.)

As soon as I turned my back and started down the stairs 'possum quietly disappeared over the balcony.

I always have them coming on my patio. I live on a horse farm thats in the middle of no where. They
arereally the ones that dont scare me. They look like big rats though. But cute big rats haha. Coons do scare me a little just cause they dont mess around. And I see plenty of fox but none come close enough ever for human contact..which I think is good. One time there was a parent fox and 3 little
babies playing in my yard. It was adorable and so cool to watch!. Awesome pictures though! :)

We have a huge possum that comes by every night to check the food bowl of the outdoor cats. Sometimes I see it; other times I just hear it shuffling through the leaves on the path.
