shrooms in PA?

    hello just wondering if its safe to go out and take some mush growin on cow crap, im in PA so idk where i can find some good mush, ik that if it has blue bruises on the stem its pysilocybe or if it leaves a purple spore print...just need some info, im a noob. idk if payin someone 50 for an 8th is smart wen i can go out and find some with some knowledge.

    temps dropped to much to be looking. yesterday was about the last day for Western Pa and PA itself..

    There are no cubenisis that grow in cow fields in PA .. The only ones your going to find are wild ones listed in the PA Mushroom Id Panaeolus subbalteatus
    Psilocybe caerulipes
    Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata
    Gymnopilus junonius
    Gymnopilus aeruginosus

    those are the types of mush that grow in pennsylvania and that is all..
    ovoideocystidiata could of been found this last week but its unlikely youll find them in temps below 50F..

    Yea i don't know what part of PA you live in but a couple of my friends and i went to Grey Towers (Gray towers maybe) and got a decent harvest. I would say about a half ounce or so...
